THE SOUTH

When you get right down to it, a lot of these folks trace back to the North. But their "roots" are strongly tied to the South.  These are my Mom's line.  Starting with her
parents, William Jennings Hartsell & Ruby Lee Squyres

MATERNAL:  Beginning with the Squyres line......which we first pick up in Horry Co
South Carolina......from whence they came before then, has not been proven.

PATERNAL:  Beginning with the Hertzel line from Switzerland to Baden Germany
to Pennsyvania then to North Carolina, where the name was changed to Hartsell.

HARGRAVE	BEAVER	LIPE	SHUFFERT	MISENHEIMER

 And it goes on .......... with many collateral lines that make the world of "cousins" small.
