Was full blood Cherokee indian. Married Barbara Akin, born ABT 1856 also, in Savannah Georgia. Moved back to Bowie late 1800s' some sort of epidemic moved them on to Coryell County. They Lorenza and Barbara moved to Coryell County with their children Frank, John, Pinkie, Hattie, Thomas, Kate, Mattie and Luther Devora Born 02 November 1888. Have not been able to obtain marriage records. They were in Dallas Co. 1860-80. Both are buried in Wheatland Cemetery near Duncanville. Any help appreciated.

He and his wife Indiana JOHNSON had several children born during that time period. He left Amarillo in order to go on the "Oklahoma Land Rush" of 1891 and obtained land in El Reno, Ok.
