My family was in Tippah County, Mississippi, move to Texas then to Drew County, Arkansas. They were in Tippah County during the 1850 census and in Drew County in the 1880's.

I'm researching my TILLER family, in particular Benjamin and Warren Tiller, sons of George Tiller b. abt. 1784 VA. Benjamin and Warren were supposed to have left Macon Co., MO during the Civil War and joined the TX Confederate army. Several Tillers from Bowie County applied for Civil War pensions: Mattie Tiller, wife of Benjamin Welford Tiller and Nannie Tiller, wife of John Hamilton Tiller. Can you plasee tell me who I may contact who may be researching the Tiller family in Bowie County, TX? Thanks a lot!

Red River Co., Surnames I am looking for information regarding Richard Clem TUTT, born abt 1859 AR. In 1890, he married Henrietta ALLEN BURKHEAD, a widow with a son named Anderson. Richard "Dick" and Henrietta, had a son named Ernie and a daughter named Willie Lee TUTT. In 1898, Richard disappeared. No one knew what happened to him. Would love to share information with others, researching the TUTT families of Red River,and Bowie Co's. Thank you.

I have researched the John Newton MURRAY/Rebecca Mccrary MURRAY lines of Bowie/Red River Cos. Texas. John's son was William Silas Pinckney MURRAY. S.P. married Lavinnia Ann WIGGINS of Lafeyette Co. Miss. Lavinnia's father and mother were Harrison WIGGINS and Elizabeth MITCHELL. John Newton's parents were Thomas Alexander MURRAY and Sarah Seawood MURRAY of Buncombe Co. NC. Thomas A MURRAY was the son of Samuel and Elizabeth Rees MURRAY of Buncombe and Newberry District SC. Have loads of information on the MCCRARY line, thanks to Michael MCCRARY of Springhill. Would like to correspond with all interested in these lines.
