DEATH DATE: January 11, 1940

PLACE OF DEATH: Harrison County, Waskom, Texas

PARENTS: Ben and Josephine Hubbard

BROTHERS & SISTERS: Abram, William, Selby, Cornelius, Ben Jr., Silas, Sidney, Mary, Eugene, Carwell and Martha.

EDUCATION: Unknown

OCCUPATION: Farmer - Sugar Cane Syrup Maker

PLACE OF RESIDENCE: Harrison County - Waskom, Texas

SPOUSE: Erie Grant

CHILDREN: Marie, Dexter, Josephine, Timond, Florence, Fannie, Lolia and Azzie Jr.

NOTES: After Erie death Azzie married Jessie Bell Thompson and one child was born to this union Verda Lee Hubbard. Jessie had other children by a previous marriage Jessie, Kelly, Charlie, Sarah and Alberta Thompson.

Oral His-Story claims that Azzie owned his on plantation and marketed sugar cane syrup.

Erie Grant born October, 1878 in Waskom, Texas to the parents of Sampson Grant and Mariah Brashear. Her brothers and sisters were Virginia, George, Elnora and Arthur.
