Civil War Units Originated in Harrison County



The Units included are 1st Texas Infantry,
Co. E, Marshall Guards,
7th Texas Inf..
Co. D, Bass Grays, and
Co. H, Texas Invincibles;
14th Texas Infantry,
Co. A Marshall Mechanics,
Co B Clough and Hill Avengers, and
Co H Cypress Tigers;
2nd Texas Cavalry
Co. F, W. P. Lane Rangers;
3rd Texas Cavalry
Co. A, Texas Hunters;
17th Texas Cavalry
Co. E Hendricks Co. and
Co K, Clough Rangers;
28th Texas Cavalry
Co. F Harrison Co.Lancers.
There was the 1st Texas Partisan Rangers
Co. E Heck McKay's Co. and
Co. L. Webb's Co. but only a very little information on these two units. Rosters and Muster Rolls that were available are included.
