STEELMAN, Ruben Lafet & Ella Osborn
Sara Ellen (Ella) Osborn was born in Sebastian Co. Arkansas in 1865. She moved to Upshur County while still a young girl and met and married Ruben in 1881 in Upshur county. Their children were Ruben A., Lottie and Ona Steelman. Ella is buried in Hopewell cemetery.
After Ella died Ruben married her neice, Mary Ellen Hoover, daughter of Little John and Melissa Osborn Hoover, in Hopkins County. Their children were; Rosie Lou, Flonie Mae and L. B. Steelman.
