Ramah is listed in the "Men and Women of WW II Who Served In WWII" book. He was inducted into the US Army on 27 July 1943, in Tyler, Tx;  he served in Okinawa & was awarded GC Medal and Amer. Lib. Ribbon.   Military Occupational Specialty: Truck Driver and Mechanic. Ramah L. Spann 38 479 552 Private First Class Headquarters Company 10th Army, was Honorably Discharged at Camp Fannin, Tx on 10 Jan 1946. He first married Sallie Estelle Lovejoy. They had three daughters.
