Steelman Cousins Hold 27th Reunion

The Steelman cousins met May 1 for their 27th annual runion.  Five of the eight children of 
John and Hariette Steelman were represented. 

Representing the Barbara Steelman Bowin family were Harrell & Gloria Smith of Houston; 
Clinton & Norma Tomoin, Earl & Lea Ann Tedofrd, Ginger Anderson,  M. C. & Leslie Thorn, Brandi & Kylie Turner of Gilmer.

Representing the Berry Steelman family were Ernie & Rosemary Wolk of Shreveport, LA; Ruby Dowd of Linden; Jimmie Spencer, Paula Watkins, Glenda Duke, Melissa Watkins, Stacy & Taylor Oglesby of Gilmer; Flora Dell Erwin of Winnsboro.

Representing the Henry Steelman family were Charles & Gloria Harris of Winnsboro; Pauline Harrison & Wanda Stracener of Gilmer.

Representing the Alexander Steelman family were Huel Dean & Betty Steelman, Maevon 
Blundell of Gilmer.

Representing the Charlie Steelman family were Wyoma Langford of Gilmer.

Quilt Show
Big Sandy, Texas
September 18, 2004

Everyone enjoyed a tour of handcrafted quilts at the Big Sandy Quilt Show, September 18, 2004 in the Community Center at City Hall.
The building was overflowing with wonderful quilts of all sizes, shapes, designs and age, from antique quilts to the handiwork of todays quilters. Los of ribbons were won in the many catagories, and everyone went home happy.  Do you have quilts you would like to show off and share with others next year?  Maybe win a ribbon or two?
