CHILTON CEMETERY

This is an alphabetical listing of those buried in the Chilton Cemetery, located on FM 2911 in Big Sandy. It was compiled at the Upshur County Library through research by Mrs. Lucille Kay of Big Sandy and by James Earl Roberts of Big Sandy. Both are now deceased. Their list was completed through 1983. This list was completed by Royce Tipton, President, Chilton Cemetery and Helen Patterson, bookkeeper advisor for Chilton Cemetery. The list is through July, 2001.

This list is by no means complete. The Upshur County Courthouse burned once in the 19th century, destroying records. Others may have been buried there in the early years where where not recorded.
